A relaxing setting and access to the amenities of a university town are yours in this colonial home.  Located in a peaceful neighborhood of this western suburb of Detroit, this B&B is also situated on the first fairway of the local golf course and adjacent to the tennis courts and pool. 

 With access to Art Fairs, cultural / sporting events, museums and major Medical Centers just minutes away, not to mention ready access to Canada & Detroit (sorry, we're booked for the Super Bowl!), this B&B is a haven for everyone from the business traveler, to college parents to one of the numerous visitors to town.  Conveniently located near Interstate highways, virtually all SE Michigan events are within an hour's drive at most.

 

   


   
A welcoming entry gives one access to the second floor bedrooms or the first floor common areas for guests - kitchen, dining room and guest (family) room.  From the kitchen, guests look out on the first fairway to the back.  Accessible from the family room, a back deck provides a view of either the fairway or the tennis courts to the side.

  Currently the front living room area is used by the owner as a combination office and Innkeeper room (for when the B&B is full), but could be put to any number of alternative uses.

 

 

On the second floor are 4 Guest Rooms - two bedrooms with shared bathroom, a suite room and an apartment.  These two bedrooms are usually rented out together to meet the needs of families traveling together as couples or with children, or a single bedroom may be rented out with private bath.

 



The second floor suite room is a large room featuring a queen-size, four-poster bed, large closets and a private bathroom with shower.  There is also a small sitting area with antiques and a fireplace.

           

 

A Jacuzzi Suite or apartment is the largest of the second floor guest rooms, with over 700 square feet of living area.  This accommodation may be accessed either internally or via a spiral staircase to a private entrance and screened-in porch that overlooks the golf course.  This suite includes a King-size bed, private sitting area, small kitchen area with refrigerator and microwave, a luxurious two-person Jacuzzi tub, double sinks and shower.

 

 

Owners Quarters are currently located in the Lower Level, although this area may also be rented out as a suite.  In these instances, the first floor office doubles as the Innkeeper bedroom, having panels to close it off from the other first floor rooms.  The finished LL is comprised of a kitchen, living area, bedroom and private bath.  Laundry facilities and the furnace are also on this level.
